JOB SUMMARY:

The Funding Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the funded sales, repair, and rental order pipeline. They will support the Funding Managers with attainment of revenue goals by ensuring that funding cases are processed in accordance with third party criteria on a timely basis while achieving both order volume and funding packet quality. Leads Funding operations within district/ country drive stakeholder collaboration and implementstrategic improvements to ensure compliance and revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all facets of the daily operation of the Funding Department ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, policies, and regulations.
• Manage Interim/part time funding employees
• Assist and Manage District funding employees as needed
• Adaptability to adjust to the funding dept current needs within District.
• Assist Funding Managers with Supervising, training, coaching, and mentoring staff. Communicate and lead the team to meet revenue and forecasting goals.
• Assist Funding managers with monitor action plans when business results are not meeting established operational targets or indicate future operational performance issues.
• Innovative mindset to create new, effective solutions.
• Assist Funding Managers with Maintain internal controls over funded sales pipeline and monitor incoming funding requests, third party submissions, authorization approvals, and order processing ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Actively engage in process improvement initiatives and ensure that established policies and procedures are implemented and sustained.
• Respond to escalated issues involving customer inquiries, sales staff concerns and third-party payers.
• Help to drive and track KPI's and monthly sales goals across the department.
• Assist with onboarding of new employees.
• Assist with growth performance for funding employees.
• Communicate frequently with District Funding Managers about employees, management staff, field staff, SLP's, insurance provider personnel, educational or government institutions, clients, and family members on funding requirements and authorization requests.
• Assist Funding Director in the development of new initiatives to drive top line sales growth, reduce cycle time, and improve inter-departmental operations.
• Provide education support on the funding process and communicate funding related problems with third party payers and changes in funding requirements. Update funding policies and procedures as warranted.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree and 5+ years' experience in funding authorization or supervision preferred
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

COMPUTER OR TECHICAL SKILLS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work at a desk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to travel to the Pittsburgh office for team activities/trainings (approx. 4 times per year)

The estimated starting salary range for this role will be $70,000-$100,000depending on a variety of factors including candidate qualifications and geographic differentials.
