Delaware North Travel is hiring a full-time or part-time Barista to join our team at Boise Airport in Boise, Idaho. As a Barista, you will deliver excellent guest service through mastery of coffee knowledge and recipes, educating teammates and customers, and making beverages to brand specifications. On July 10, 2025, Delaware North announced its US-based Travel Hospitality Services (THS) business will be sold to Areas, a global leader in travel dining and retail. Unit Description

Providing hospitality services at Boise Airport since 2014, Delaware North offers travelers an array of dining options - including local favorites Bardenay and 13th Street Pub & Grill, as well as national brands such as Smashburger and Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests about additional items and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following all health, safety, and proper sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in the opening or closing of the location.
• Perform clean-up duties, including cleaning equipment.
• Record all transactions via the point of sale system; maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at the end of the shift.
• Collect money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests.
• Some food preparation and food handling.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to remain stationary for the entire length of the shift.
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
