Integro Asset Management is a management company specializing in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care in senior living communities across various states in the US. Our goal is to provide a serene setting and compassionate care to our residents, dedicated to Enhancing Quality of Life.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to serve as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team overseeing all maintenance-related activities across healthcare settings. This is a remote position that requires frequent travel.

The Director of Construction will be responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a sense of urgency, a strong work ethic, high energy, integrity, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently, ethically, and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage new construction and remodeling projects
  • Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and with community leadership
  • Manage all project aspects, including:
    • Ensuring scope and plans are followed
    • Maintaining schedules
    • Monitoring progress and costs
    • Reviewing and approving change orders
    • Meeting deadlines
    • Obtaining insurance certificates and lien releases
  • Provide timely updates to leadership on project status, budget, and schedule
  • Represent the company to external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, constructors, and regulatory agencies, fostering excellent vendor relations based on fairness, consistency, prompt payment, and strong working relationships
  • Attend meetings with code officials, inspectors, and other regulatory bodies
  • Ensure construction is orderly, deliberate, and compliant with contract standards and industry best practices
  • Verify work quality and completeness
  • Obtain inspections and document quality aspects, including red-line drawings
  • Regularly meet with onsite representatives to discuss progress, resolve issues, and keep project managers informed
  • Manage changes to project scope
  • Oversee punch list completion
  • Maintain positive interactions with team members such as accounting, HR, and ICS

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Extensive knowledge of building construction, materials, and methods
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly
  • Self-motivated with leadership qualities and responsibility-taking ability
  • Proficient in reading construction documents and understanding design, permit, and bidding processes
  • This position is based in the Great Lakes region and involves extensive regional travel
