Starting Pay $19.00 hourlyRetention Bonus EligibleJob Description Primary Location:Nampa, Idaho Production Forklift Operator: Operates liquefied gas or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus.Unloads trucks and stacks products from the production line by raising and lowering lifting ventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.Dispositions returned, outdated, and damaged product and materials according to established procedures.Lubricates forklifts, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank as pletes pre-shift safety inspections in compliance with company standards and policies.Wears company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and pletes all required Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with management and employees of the organization.Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats. Ability to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oralinstructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSForklift Operator Certification. Obtain and maintain forklift safety certification by company.
