Description:

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects. This role involves designing and optimizing process systems, including fluid transfer, heat exchange, water purification, hazardous waste treatment, and specialty gas and chemical handling. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and optimize process system designs for industrial and manufacturing projects.Conduct process simulations, fluid flow analysis, and equipment sizing calculations.Prepare and review PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate process systems with facility infrastructure.Perform hazard and risk assessments to ensure process safety and regulatory compliance.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Participate in site visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of process systems.Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and process simulation tools to develop detailed engineering designs.Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project execution.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).PE license (or ability to obtain reciprocity in Oregon within six months).5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in industrial, semiconductor, or high-tech manufacturing environments.Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit for process design and documentation.Strong understanding of chemical process engineering principles, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.Experience with process simulation and modeling tools such as PIPE-FLO or equivalent.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Additional Details:Salary Range: $100K - $160K (DOE)Benefits: Health insurance, 401K matching, PTO, and professional development opportunities.Work Environment: Business casual, on-site role with occasional site visits.
