Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Define and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, yields, and reduce cycle time.
2. Develop and update procedures and work instructions based on customer requirements.
3. Assist in product development and production departments with fixturing and tooling.
4. Define inspection criteria based on statistical analysis.
5. Evaluate and troubleshoot production and quality issues.
6. Provide material review dispositions for non-conforming materials or parts.
7. Support the production floor.
8. Engage with supply chain to address quality issues.
9. Review projects to define, design, develop, and deploy effective solutions using minimal resources.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
11. Provide accurate quotes based on customer prints/requirements.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Understanding of GD&T drawings and technical specifications.
4. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process quality controls.
5. Effective communication skills with cross-functional teams.
6. Motivated and capable of working under strict deadlines.
7. Experience with SolidWorks is desirable.
8. Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.

Physical Demands

1. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
2. Extensive periods of sitting, talking on the phone, and working on a computer.
3. Extensive walking and standing.
