Job Title: Controller – Construction
Location: Boise, ID (Onsite)
Salary: $120,000/year + Bonus + Full Benefits

CV Resources is partnering with a well-respected construction company in Boise, ID to find an experienced Controller to lead core accounting operations. This is a high-impact, onsite role reporting directly to the CFO and managing a team of three. The ideal candidate will bring a strong construction accounting background, experience with job costing, and a hands-on approach to leadership and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and supervise a team of 3

• Oversee month-end close, general ledger activity, and financial statement preparation

• Maintain accurate job costing and WIP reporting for multiple construction projects

• Partner with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control

• Support internal controls, policy development, and audit preparation

• Collaborate with the CFO on strategic financial reporting and forecasting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5–10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction accounting

• Proven knowledge of job costing, month-end close, and financial reporting

• Experience using Viewpoint (Spectrum) accounting software is highly preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
