Job Details

Design mechanical piping and equipment for renewable and fossil power generation facilities. Prepare mechanical equipment and packaged equipment specifications and data sheets, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations. Review mechanical equipment vendor drawings and data. Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, and detailers/designers. Ensure effective communications with other engineering disciplines. Prepare construction/installation scopes of work for mechanical systems. Participate in the development of PFDs and P&ID's. Perform piping design activities including sizing, pressure drop calculations, stress analysis, and pipe support design. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers. Required Education/ Experience. BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) degree from an accredited university 5 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial facilities.
