Our client, a global EPC firm, is actively seeking Electrical Engineers in Boise, ID. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the strong possibility of going perm based on performance. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Overview

The Electrical Engineer III will be responsible for delivering complex construction packages, including tool installation design. This role involves producing single-line diagrams depicting electrical power systems (208Y/120V through 480V), installation details, electric room layouts, tool installation connection diagrams, cable tray layouts, cable schedules, power plans, lighting plans, breaker coordination studies, and Arc Flash / Short-Circuit Current studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy
• Minimum 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience related to facility engineering
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or PE License REQUIRED
• Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM modeling software
• Strong skill set to digitally markup drawings, utilizing applications such as Autodesk Design Review and BIM360 for delegating tasks to a designer
• Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications
• Familiarity with design and construction project delivery, from initiation through detailed design, specifications, and construction services
