Responsibilities

  1. Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of medium to large multidiscipline water/wastewater projects, typically exceeding $200K in fees.
  2. Lead and supervise teams of engineers and CAD professionals to develop detailed plans, reports, design criteria, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water/wastewater projects.
  3. Establish and maintain client relationships, participate in marketing, acquire new business, develop project scopes and fees, and negotiate contracts.
  4. Assist in proposal preparation.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Conduct development and project work sessions with clients and internal teams.
  7. Prepare project management plans, establish project teams, and assign responsibilities.
  8. Coordinate staffing and workload to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  9. Collaborate with finance and project review teams.
  10. Implement QA/QC procedures.
  11. Provide training to personnel based on strategic plans.
  12. Supervise project staff and mentor less-experienced project managers.
  13. Maintain professional engineering registration.
  14. Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; Access experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills.
