Micron seeks a Senior / Principal Engineer for Water Wastewater in Global Facilities Engineering. You will help build advanced water and wastewater systems for our facilities. Job Responsibilities Design and Construction Project Support + Lead the Micron Global, Regional, and Site Design and Construction project teams in developing engineering and design concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects. + Coordinate planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. + Collaborate with Global and Regional Facilities, Site Facilities, Construction, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Layout and Planning, and other internal and external collaborators. + Develop water and wastewater system designs to be incorporated into U.S. Design and Construction Projects. + Establish and maintain outstanding engineering and construction practices, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. + Review and provide feedback on Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Construction Specifications. + Ensure effective communication with collaborators to achieve project objectives. + Perform timely reviews of design packages and provide detailed comments and feedback. + Provide support for project cost and schedule estimates. + Supervise and coordinate consultant resources. + Ensure scope meets customer and requestor needs and follow change management procedures. + Monitor progress and provide design support during construction. + Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations. + Participate in capacity and scenario planning, evaluating impacts based on changes. Technical Support and Leadership + Provide consultation and support to Global, Regional, and Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams as the Technical Field Subject Matter Expert. + Collaborate with internal partners including Technology Development Team, Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc. + Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global system standards, specifications, and best-known methods. + Ensure standardization and alignment across the Micron Global Network. + Analyze system designs for performance improvements, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings. + Support sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies. + Evaluate engineering standard methodologies both within and outside Micron. + Stay updated with groundbreaking technical knowledge in your subject area. Global Initiatives Program Support + Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global Best Known Methods documents, focusing on operations, maintenance, and reliability. + Support Global Facilities Teams in defining and implementing global programs and initiatives. + Contribute to Global Sustainability Programs, including emissions, energy, water, wastewater, and green infrastructure design. + Provide lessons learned and feedback to improve Micron Global Standards and BKMs. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering. + 7-10 years of technical expertise and experience in Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems. + Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases. Preferred Qualifications: + Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently. + Excellent organizational skills and service attitude. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Self-motivated with 4+ years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems.
