Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, result-driven individual for the NAND Equipment Development CVD/Diffusion Lead role. The individual will lead a team of engineers to identify, prioritize, and drive equipment solutions within a 15-month cadence for yield, reliability, and cost improvements across various stages of technology development and introduction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a safe environment by following proactive safety practices and policies.
  2. Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of skilled equipment engineers.
  3. Create a culture of innovation and tenacity to meet the demands of an accelerated technology cadence.
  4. Provide performance feedback, support career development, and mentor team members through Micron's performance processes.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers to develop equipment and hardware improvements aligned with Micron's technology roadmap.
  6. Work with process and manufacturing teams to prioritize projects and deliver high-volume, robust equipment on schedule.
  7. Enable First-Of-A-Kind (FOAK) equipment capacity for transfer, pilot ramp, and maturation to meet TECHNODE gate criteria.
  8. Coordinate with Procurement & Operations teams to improve equipment effectiveness across technology areas.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with local and global partners, adhering strictly to Micron's IP policies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  2. Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  3. At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with CVD and/or Diffusion equipment, demonstrating strong organizational and technical skills and successful engagement with global teams.
  4. Proven ability to lead projects and oversee process engineering teams.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Willingness to take calculated risks and challenge oneself and others to develop innovative solutions.
  7. Strong mentorship, team-building, motivation, and technical expertise, with the ability to solicit and analyze feedback and performance outcomes.
