Position Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Solution Architect must have prior consulting and Salesforce.com experience, particularly with Sales Cloud/CPQ, and be ready to join a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has experience defining a scope of work, designing solutions, communicating solutions to stakeholders in terms of business outcomes, and coaching/mentoring team members. A strong technical foundation in Salesforce, coupled with business acumen and the ability to communicate solutions, tradeoffs, and risks with stakeholders, is key. The candidate should have deep experience designing solutions for complex enterprise sales teams and success in building systems to support KPI achievement.
Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
  1. Lead and own all declarative designs (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ) for the Salesforce CoE, supporting a complex sales process and rapidly growing B2B business.
  2. Apply AI technologies and innovation to solution design, to eliminate error, enhance sales opportunity, and support case time to close, augmenting the business's innovation.
  3. Be a critical stakeholder in the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), driving governance, stability, process rigor, and org health.
  4. Build relationships with key business stakeholders and sales leaders to understand business needs and challenges.
  5. Participate in all phases of the SDLC (discovery/requirements, design, build, test, training, data migration, deployment) and drive accurate build estimates for sprint planning.
  6. Drive the execution and successful completion of sprint work.
  7. Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders, combining your Salesforce expertise with business goals, with a declarative first mindset.
  8. Analyze and decompose complex business information to design scalable solutions supporting business objectives, presenting options with focus on outcomes and tradeoffs.
  9. Mentor and support team members in their work, including ticket design, solution review, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  10. Review solution implementation throughout the build phase to ensure alignment with design, scope, acceptance criteria, and business objectives.
  11. Identify risks and mitigation plans, focusing on solution, effort, and technical risks, and escalate as needed.
  12. Support communication/discussions related to solutions, options, risks, and issues, tailored to the audience.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. 7+ years of experience as a Sr. Salesforce Solution Architect in complex environments supporting sales and sales operations.
  2. Deep experience with:
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ
  • Flow, Process Builder, Apex, Lightning components
  • Complex reporting, dashboards, advanced analytics
  • Data modeling, security, sharing rules, integration best practices
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus
  • Proven solution design and architecture experience within Salesforce and CPQ.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Einstein (Analytics, AI, GPT).
  • Experience with Einstein Discovery, Next Best Action, AI automation preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certifications preferred:
    • Advanced Administrator (ADM 301)
    • Platform AppBuilder
    • CPQ
    • Service Cloud
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
