Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING Highway District Preventative Maintenance Crew

• IMMEDIATE HIRE!
• Day Shift, Monday- Thursday, 7 am- 5:30 pm
• Enjoy 3-day weekends
• $19.00 p/h
• Excellent opportunity with the Highway District

Duties:

Chip Seal Crew:

• Rake and/or shovel the chips and oil, and cover sewer access points
• Manually place the oil and chips on roadway corners where equipment cannot reach
• Knock on doors to get cars moved when needed
• Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, willing to take direction on processes and procedures
• Must be able to work safely in the Right-of-Way and middle of traffic
• Able to work outdoors in the heat of the summer
• Set-up and tear down traffic control barriers

Crack-Seal Crew

• Cleans and prepares roadway for sealant repair using compressed air
• Applies a flexible, resilient sealant to damaged roadways to extend the life of the road
• Walk up to 10 miles per day while in moving traffic and the Right-of-Way
• Safely work around moving construction equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A Valid Drivers License
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
• Work well in a team environment
• Ability to follow directions on county processes and procedures
• Follow and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
• Operate all county vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions
