KPMG is seeking a Director, Negotiations & Deal Coaching to join our Growth and Strategy organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coach client-facing leaders and Firm leadership (Partners, MDs, Directors) across Advisory, Tax, and Audit on negotiation and pricing strategies; negotiate on behalf of the firm in limited capacity; facilitate workshops on negotiation and pricing strategy.
  2. Lead strategy, deal configuration, financial modeling, and client negotiations involving risk/reward and creative pricing/billing models.
  3. Develop and edit thought leadership to influence business behavior through insights and proven approaches; partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and growth priorities.
  4. Educate account and pursuit teams in negotiation, pricing, and commercial strategies to meet or exceed firm expectations.
  5. Contribute to training content and facilitate negotiations training for all firm functions.
  6. Collaborate with global teams and member firms on contracting, training, pricing strategies, and thought leadership; develop methodologies, curricula, and tools in negotiation and commercial strategy.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 15 years of recent experience in professional services, with at least 12 years in negotiations; client leadership and deal delivery experience preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  3. Deep knowledge of interest-based negotiations and professional services pricing models; ability to develop resource plans influencing organizational priorities.
  4. Strong executive presence, presentation skills, and credibility to coach and advise senior executives and sales teams.
  5. Proven leadership with the ability to drive outcomes on complex programs; excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to set and execute strategic initiatives, foster high-performance culture, and influence all organizational levels.

KPMG complies with local/state salary disclosure regulations. Salary ranges vary by location, with California ranges from $155,000 to $311,000.
