The Division of Public Works is seeking a licensed electrician for a permanent full-time position on the Facilities Services team at the State of Idaho Chinden Campus.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing the duties listed below in a commercial building environment. This position is building maintenance oriented and involves lifting and carrying items, bending, stooping, shoveling, and climbing ladders. The incumbent may work in all weather conditions and move in and around confined spaces.
We serve Idaho by promoting responsible government through expert customer support.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure:must be a licensed Journeyman Electrician in accordance with Idaho Code, Title 54, Chapter 10.
Good knowledge of:national electrical code; electrical safety practices.
Experience:
The above qualifications are typically met by at least four years of full-time work experience where the criteria was part of your primary job responsibilities.
This position does require a valid Driver's License or the ability to obtain one.
Supplemental Information:
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check.
This position will also interact with a diverse customer base and must be able to interact in a non-partisan manner when working in political environments.
