Summary

Job Description

The Business Analyst III plays a critical role in performing new product implementations for Ryder's new and existing customer sites. This will require superior attention to detail and communication skills to effectively gather business and user requirements and transform those into reliable and accurate data collection, reporting, and insights for Ryder's analytics platform. This position will have a direct impact on Ryder's business by enabling our operations team to run our customer locations as efficiently and effectively as possible. You will also have the opportunity to improve our implementation processes, develop new user solutions, and support and coach junior business analysts on the team.

Essential Functions

1. Lead the implementation process for the analytics platform for new and existing Ryder customers and mentor/train junior business analysts.
2. Gather and evaluate business and user requirements at new and existing customer accounts to understand metrics, KPIs, operational data, and user interface requirements.
3. Integrate customer data sources into the analytics platform using proficient knowledge of database structure, queries, and data validation to ensure accurate data reporting.
4. Develop PowerBi dashboards by understanding business needs, interpreting data, and transforming into usable visualizations to drive business decisions.
5. Work closely and effectively communicate with a wide array of stakeholders, including operations, continuous improvement, IT, product teams, and management.
6. Identify opportunities to standardize the implementation process to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
7. Lead initiatives and project teams to develop new or enhanced features incorporating data reporting, analytics, and insights to further improve the user experience.
8. Proactively address customer issues, modifications, and enhancements for existing accounts.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Address day-to-day implementation and customer site support issues and fixes.
2. Provide support to additional product development and business projects as needed.
3. Provide training, coaching, and guidance to junior business analysts.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree required preferably in a technical field.
2. Master's degree preferred preferably in a technical field.
3. Four (4) years to Six (6) years or more as a business analyst or related experience required.
4. Six (6) years or more as a business analyst or similar professional roll will be considered in lieu of a degree. preferred.
5. Four (4) years to Six (6) years or more working in or with manufacturing, logistics, and/or operations considered a plus preferred.
6. Proficient in SQL databases to support the application and solution advanced required.
7. Proficient in PowerBi advanced required.

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 110000

Maximum Pay Range: 130000
