Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated civil engineer with at least 10 years of experience to join our Facilities Division, specializing in high-performing projects in food and beverage, Federal, and industrial facility design. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, take ownership of your work, and contribute positively to the environment. Flexibility for hybrid or remote work is available, preferably near Boise, Idaho, or Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Design grading and drainage for new sites, remodels, and additions
• Provide utility delivery, access road design, permitting, and construction support
• Utilize terrain modeling software, especially AutoCAD Civil3D, for project communication
• Assume ownership of project goals and deliver high-quality work through a thorough QA/QC process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience, capable of independent judgment and adaptation of engineering principles
• PE license preferred; California PE license offers a financial bonus
• Experience in land development, municipal utility design, water resources, or environmental engineering
• Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, and grading
• Strong communication skills and ability to self-manage and build client relationships

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D or Microstation Inroads
• Experience with stormwater modeling software such as HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, etc.
• Foundation design experience
