POSITION OVERVIEW

The Retail Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the success and growth of our retail business. Exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to drive results will be instrumental in leading our retail team to achieve sales targets, enhance the customer experience, and uphold the brand's reputation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive retail strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement in our retail operations.
  3. Set sales targets and revenue goals for the retail business, overseeing their achievement through effective sales strategies and performance monitoring.
  4. Manage and optimize profit margins, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Oversee the day-to-day operations of all retail stores, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to standard operating procedures, and exceptional customer service.
  6. Monitor store performance, analyzing sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
  7. Champion a customer-centric approach across retail operations, enhancing the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  8. Develop and implement customer retention strategies to drive repeat business and foster customer loyalty.
  9. Collaborate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.
  10. Work with the visual merchandising team to create compelling store displays and promote product visibility.
  11. Lead, inspire, and mentor the retail team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  12. Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  13. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, using insights to inform retail strategies and remain competitive.
  14. Collaborate with finance teams to develop retail budgets and financial forecasts.
  15. Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  16. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements across all retail locations.
  17. Uphold brand standards and maintain consistency in customer service and store presentation.
  18. Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience (at least 10+ years) in retail management, with significant experience in a leadership or directorial role.
  3. Demonstrated success in driving retail sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  4. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Visionary mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and lead transformational initiatives.
  8. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
  9. Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will supervise all positions within the retail department.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set, considering a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity and market data alignment.

SALARY

$110000 per year - $140000 per year
