Specializing in industrial and commercial construction projects throughout Idaho and Eastern Oregon, we are known for our quality work, collaborative approach, and long-standing relationships with clients, trade partners, and community stakeholders. We're looking for a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the success of our projects.

What You'll Do
As the Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager, you'll lead the preconstruction phase for commercial and industrial projects, including both design-build and competitive bid work. You'll be responsible for cost estimating, proposal development, subcontractor coordination, and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals based on project plans and conceptual drawings.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade professionals to define scope and pricing strategies.
• Analyze project specifications, identify risks, and recommend cost-saving alternatives.
• Conduct material and quantity take-offs using historical cost data and up-to-date market rates.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and competitiveness.
• Lead the development of preconstruction schedules and coordinate procurement strategies.
• Support client interviews, lead presentations and prepare to RFP and RFQ responses.
• Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and industry professionals.

What You Bring to the Team
• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience (project sizes $3M–$25M).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of estimating principles, construction methods, and preconstruction workflows.
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Apps (Excel, Work, 365, Teams) & Bluebeam
• Experience with cloud-based project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project Scheduling Software)
• Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple preconstruction efforts simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Compensation Range: $95,000– $125,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)
