Summary

This role requires expertise and recognized authority in relevant subject matter including technologies, theories, or techniques. You will contribute to developing innovative principles and ideas, operate in complex disciplines, and provide highly innovative solutions. The role involves exercising independent judgment, developing strategies, setting policies, and leading large, cross-division teams or projects. Mentoring junior engineers and working a hybrid schedule of 4 days in-office and 1 remote day are also expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate broad technical leadership impacting significant technical directions.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, focusing on strategic and creative problem solving.
• Design solutions, applying appropriate technologies, and lead the design of complex infrastructure and software solutions, fostering innovation.
• Manage global maintenance services across various technology areas or functions using in-depth or broad technical knowledge.
• Lead technical discussions with cross-functional teams, consult on complex issues, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Implement end-user or enterprise infrastructure/services of significant complexity independently.
• Integrate technical expertise with business understanding to create superior solutions.
• Analyze complex business requirements and design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Design, prepare, and execute unit tests, considering testing as a core component of software development.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to support software evolution.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university.

Relevant Experience

• 5+ years related experience and/or training
• Experience with Microservices/Event-Based Architecture
• Proficiency in C#/.NET Core
• Experience with SQL and ORMs like Entity Framework or Dapper
• Knowledge of Change Data Capture tables
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, Azure Serverless Functions, and Orchestrations
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps YAML
