Position Overview

KPMG is seeking a Lead Engineer I, (Lead GCP Cloud Engineer) to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and administer GCP environments supporting enterprise systems, ensuring stability.
  2. Develop and maintain automation scripts for GCP management to enhance efficiency.
  3. Serve as a Cloud DevOps SME, driving innovation and sharing knowledge.
  4. Create and update documentation for processes and automated tools.
  5. Collaborate with application teams for deployment, fostering teamwork.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum five years of recent Cloud DevOps experience with GCP management and engineering.
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field preferred.
  3. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  4. Experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub Actions.
  5. Proficiency in GCP products such as Vertex AI, Gemini models, NotebookLM, G Suite, and Model Garden.
  6. Strong communication skills and documentation abilities.
  7. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
