Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Bachelor's degree in airport management, business administration, public administration, marketing, or related field, and five years of experience in the commercial aviation industry working with retail property/tenant management, property development, real estate, or commercial management or leasing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Functions
Includes duties such as hiring, evaluating, promoting, overseeing employees, negotiating leases and contracts, managing federal and private agency easements, resolving compliance issues, coordinating with city departments, managing development of LOIs, RFBs, RFPs, overseeing the ACDBE program, maintaining property maps, managing property transactions, contributing to business development, overseeing policies, monitoring regulations, managing Title VI compliance, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Additional Knowledge, Experience, And Training
Knowledge of property negotiation practices, management principles, legal aspects of real estate, applicable laws, budget development, capital planning, statistical analysis, and computer software. Ability to interpret laws, represent the city effectively, lead teams, analyze operational problems, and communicate effectively. Must operate vehicles safely with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Experience
Ten years of experience in the commercial aviation industry with property management, development, or leasing.
Licensing and Other Requirements
Valid driver's license, ability to obtain an Airport Driver's License, pass background checks, and TSA security clearance.
Working Conditions
