As we expand our international customer base, we are looking for a visionary and results-driven professional to lead our Marketing & Sales division.

Role Summary

The Head of Marketing & Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive sales growth, improve market penetration, and strengthen brand visibility across global markets. This leadership role will directly impact the company's topline by building strong client relationships, managing sales pipelines, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  1. Develop and implement the overall marketing and sales strategy aligned with business goals.
  2. Identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging international markets.
  3. Define and monitor sales targets, revenue goals, and market share KPIs.
  4. Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.

Business Development & Key Account Management

  1. Build and manage relationships with key accounts, trading partners, and freight customers.
  2. Visit international clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.
  3. Deliver tailored proposals, pricing quotations, and freight solutions to meet client needs.

Marketing & Branding

  1. Oversee digital and offline marketing strategies including SEO, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and PR.
  2. Develop brand positioning, content strategy, and customer communication frameworks.
  3. Monitor competitor activities and suggest positioning improvements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  1. Hire, mentor, and manage a team of sales and marketing executives.
  2. Coordinate with operations, finance, documentation, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  3. Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Domain Knowledge

  1. 7–15 years of proven experience in B2B marketing & sales, preferably in exports, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain domains.
  2. Deep understanding of international trade practices, INCOTERMS, customs documentation, HS codes, and freight negotiation.
  3. Strong client-handling and business development experience with international buyers and vendors.

Skills & Attributes

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  2. Persuasive negotiator with a solution-oriented mindset.
  3. Proficient in CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and sales pipeline management.
  4. High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity when dealing with global clients.
  5. Willingness to travel internationally (20–30% of time, depending on need).

  1. Customer acquisition rate and lead conversion ratio
  2. Quarterly and annual revenue growth
  3. Client retention and satisfaction scores
  4. Marketing ROI and campaign effectiveness
  5. Timeliness and accuracy of reporting and documentation
