Micron's Facilities Team is looking for an experienced maintenance electricians to work in our new semiconductor fab in Boise, Idaho. We have the opportunity to bring in a high-energy, tenacious, and ambitious individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join the team. Responsibilities: + Repair and maintain Waste and High Purity Water systems, including all electrical components from the branch panel to the equipment level. + Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective work, inspections, and coordinate work activities performed by contractors. + Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and NFPA 70E standards. + Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code NFPA70 and NFPA 70E. + Understand electrical one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on electrical switchboards with redundant feeds. + Provide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipment. + Respond effectively and competently to restore equipment to service as soon as possible in the event of a system failure. + Identify and respond to alarm conditions. + Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues. + Identify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stability. + Maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment. Requirements: + 1-2 years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience. + 1-2 years of maintenance experience. + Work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), rotating from days to nights every 4 months. Preferred Qualifications: + Valid Electrical Journeyman license. + 3+ years of electrical industrial or semiconductor experience.
