We are seeking a Facilities Technology Transfer Engineer to join our Engineering team in Boise, ID! This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a company that is at the forefront of tour industry!
On this team, your responsibilities will include facilities engineering planning and support for the deployment of technology transfer from Micron's Technology Development Fabs to Micron's High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) facilities. We ensure the delivery of vital facilities related information to meet new technology production schedules while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Your role encompasses collaboration with both internal and external resources to collect and disseminate information crucial for the efficient, timely, and facilitation of First of a Kind (FOAK) workstations and materials, as well as existing facilities systems upgrades to meet production requirements. Engineering includes analysis of production tool utility requirements, analysis of new technology utility requirements, evaluation of FOAK materials, processes and tools that may have impact on facilities, safety, and/or the environment. We engage with Technology Development and manufacturing teams during technology transfer to define facilities requirements for upcoming transfers. The FTT Engineer works independently, meets project schedules, and achieves objectives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with diverse teams to develop and implement technology transfer plans, ensuring seamless integration of new facilities technology.
Partner with TD Equipment and Facilities Tool Install Engineers to build Tool Service Requirements for transfer of FOAK workstations and tool utility databases capable of providing tool utility matrix for each technology transfer.
Generate Utility Trade Ratio (UTR) analysis and matrix for newest technology to determine facility system impacts.
Generate alignment Facilities Release Documentation (FRD/TI FRD) for FOAK material and workstation installation to transfer BKM's to HVM.
Provide program metrics to management (including but not limited to FRD/alignment, utility load/capacity, Cost of Transition and Performance to Plan)
Proactively identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during transfer
Collaborate with crucial team members to understand impacts of changes and identifies facilities requirements to support future process introduction including application of lessons learned and best-known methods (BKM's).
Provides engineering support to ensure safety is considered in all aspects of the technology transfer business process and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron EHS policies, safety and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Data Science, Engineering, Semiconductor, or related field of study
3+ years of experience within the Semiconductor Industry within Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, or Process Integration.
3+ years of experience with data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Semiconductor, or related field of study
5+ Years of experience within the Semiconductor Industry.
