As a member of the Technology and Product Group (TPG) Strategy team, you will help set Micron's product and technology strategy. You will work closely with team members across multiple departments including business units, design, product engineering, and technology development to define, prioritize, and communicate market and system requirements and develop best in industry technology roadmaps for products and systems that will meet these challenging market demands. You are expected to understand emerging market trends, shifting compute architectures and how emerging memories may fit into the landscape.
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Investigate the role of memory technologies in new market applications, including datacenter, client, and mobile compute architectures.
- Analyze, summarize, and report on technology inflection points, competitive landscape, and evolving customer requirements.
- Develop and cultivate positive relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure the technology plan and strategic directions align with Micron's goals and priorities.
- Collaborate to build plans and investment rationale for proposed solutions
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Over 15 years of meaningful experience.
- MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years knowledge of DRAM processes, product management, and process integration, with hands-on experience in crafting and handling DRAM-based solutions.
- 8-10 years expertise in advanced packaging, including 2.5D/3D packaging, with prior hands-on experience.
- Over 10 years of development business strategies and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, legal, marketing, government affairs, and business units to recommend strategies and execution plans to C-level executives.
- Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external collaborators.
- Highly effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience negotiating and leading large-scale, complex agreements.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, rapidly changing environments with dynamic demands.
- Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem and related technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic problem solver with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred Requirements:
- High-Bandwidth Memory Product Management and Technology Knowledge.
- Being comfortable to shift (change of plans) at a moment's notice.
- High level of technical understanding of the memory products, process technologies, and semiconductor manufacturing.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Strong program management skills with ability to establish critical metrics and provide on-demand reporting.
- Experience completing RFPs and RFQs for various spend categories.
- Evaluate technology roadmap plans and monitor progress, highlighting essential changes or realignment of priorities.
- Lead executive-level strategy meetings to propose, align, and select Micron's product and technology roadmaps.
- Collaborate with TPG partners to align roadmaps and technology priorities by mapping system and product requirements into technology metrics.
- Collaborate with partners and collaborators to gather relevant information and regularly meet with business collaborators to validate data and assumptions.
- Build and present data summaries to facilitate decision-making, highlight key takeaways, and drive follow-up action items.
- Translate strategic assessments into actionable decision points and recommendations.
- Find opportunities with CHIPS R&D programs, including NSTC, NATCAST, and NAPMP.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$188,500.00 - $375,500.00
