This position will work production on the floor in heavy steel fabrication and repair shops.Applicant will be performing the following duties regularly; Line Boring (enlarging or repairing existing holes/making new holes, fitting parts, and welding of various types of metal.Applicant must be able to read and understand blueprints in order to utilize the information to make/repair parts.Applicant must be skilled in use of welders, various hand tools, and power tools.Applicant must be able to read micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers.Applicant must be able to work under minimal supervision and must be able to safely operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to, overhead cranes, forklifts, and trucks.This position requires constant standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs.)This position requires that the applicant have a valid driver's license, as occasional field work may be required.EEOC - Pre-Employment Drug Screen Required
