A day in the life of an FBS granite fabricator:Team huddle and stretch starts the dayGear up in rain gear, ppe and hit the fab shopIn the fab shop we fab various counters and vanities as they move off the cut tableFabrication of Granite and Quartz tops using wet hand polishers with a fabrication pad systemOn occasion we do laminated edges that require epoxies and the use of grindersOther power usage occurs using various hand held toolsHeavy team lifting occurs throughout the day to move pieces to tables and cartsForklift help to move slabs is also a daily occurrence.Clean and organize tools and the work area for the next day at the end of each shift.A little about the Granite Department:Franklin Building Supply has been operating the Granite department for 12 years now.
