Summary:

Warehouse Supervisor provides assistance to the Warehouse Manager by picking up and delivering parts as needed, loading and unloading equipment and shop tools, and performing other services as requested. Also responsible for overseeing warehouse employees, warehouse maintenance, and specific warehouse tasks. Additional office tasks, duties and responsibilities are assigned on a recurring or as needed basis.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
•Coordinate scheduling of Warehouse employees.
•Responsible for picking up and delivering tools, parts, and equipment to job sites/technicians as dispatched.
•Ensures that areas of the warehouse and parts are properly stocked.
•Ensures the cleanliness of the warehouse by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and cleaning parts bins daily.
•Responsible for maintenance and inventory of shop tools, assist with the check in and check out. Ensure that shop tools are in good repair.
•Keep parts area and warehouse office organized and clean.
•Order rags and other shop supplies as needed.
•Deliver paperwork from office as needed.
•Other duties as assigned.
•Assist with checking in and putting daily freight away.
•Accounts for all material, equipment, and supply purchases against P.O.s, Bills of Material (BOM), and work orders.
•Maintains orderly records of tool inventory and transfer between the warehouse, trucks, and other locations. Updates and maintains inventory tool list and delivery of tools to the jobsite. Logs all rental equipment and ensures it is returned appropriately.
•Using appropriate lifting techniques to load and unload parts into vehicle.
•Keeping parts truck clean.

Requirements:
•Must have a valid driver's license.
•Must be capable of following instructions, have good communication skills, and the ability to retain information.
•Must be capable of identifying materials used in the trade.
•Completion of required safety trainings.
•Ability to prioritize tasks in an environment of changing time constraints and deadlines.

Required Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•2+ years of warehouse/inventory control preferred but not required.
•Prior experience with shipping & receiving required.
•Previous experience and certification operating a Forklift preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:
•Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
•Lift over 50 lbs.
•Stand 90% of the day.
•Climb ladders.
•Operate Forklift.
•Possess good vision (normal or corrected).
•Carry material from one location to another or floor to floor.

Supervisory Responsibility:
•Enforces safety and work performance standards and regulations.
•Adheres to company core values.
•Oversee Warehouse employees and scheduling needs.

Work Environment:

Work environment may vary depending on the type of job; work may be indoors or outdoors. May require exposure to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. Warehouse Supervisor may work in a wide variety of environments from clean to dusty, dirty, hot, cold and wet conditions. Frequently required to drive from warehouse to job sites/vendors. Additionally, depending on the nature of the work required by a supervisor, one in this role may work in an office environment where filing paperwork processing and computer work be required.

Safety:

This position is safety sensitive and drug free, and must adhere to the company's Employee Handbook and Safety Manual. Due to the nature of the trade, Magic Services/Perfect Plumbing does participate in a reasonable suspicion drug/substance screening process designed to meet our commitment of being a drug free organization. The company also reserves the right to require its employees to present themselves for testing immediately following a work related incident.

This position may be required to drive a company vehicle or drive a personal vehicle on company business and therefore must adhere to the company's Employee Handbook and Safety Manual including the requirements indicated on the Fleet Policy. State Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) will be used as the source for verifying driver history at time of employment and at least annually thereafter. Driving privileges may be withdrawn or suspended for any authorized driver not meeting the listed requirements. In addition, appropriate disciplinary action may be taken. The standard for reviewing MVRs is as follows: New drivers may not be hired with a borderline or poor rating and driving records must remain acceptable or clear to remain on the qualified drivers list.

Travel:

Some travel may be required outside of the Treasure Valley area.
