Position Overview

Our home infusion pharmacy client is seeking a Patient Access and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist to join their Boise team. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless processes for patient intake, insurance verification, prior authorizations, benefits investigation, and revenue cycle management. While a pharmacy technician license is a nice-to-have, the ideal candidate will bring a solid background in patient access or revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Intake Management: Facilitate smooth and accurate patient intake, capturing and documenting all essential details promptly. Insurance Verification: Confirm insurance information, verify coverage, and ensure benefits are accurately recorded to support effective billing. Prior Authorizations: Process prior authorizations for medications and treatments, working closely with payers to expedite approvals. Benefits Investigation: Investigate and confirm patient benefits to ensure efficient service delivery and avoid delays in patient care. Revenue Cycle Management: Support billing accuracy and timely reimbursements by overseeing aspects of the revenue cycle. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by answering inquiries and resolving issues quickly. Collaborative Care: Coordinate closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, patient access, or revenue cycle management, with a preference for experience in pharmacy settings. Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks effectively. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technology: Proficiency in healthcare or pharmacy management software and relevant computer applications. Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service and patient care.
