POSITION SUMMARY:The Maintenance Outfitter 2 performs repairs and preventative maintenance of building, grounds and equipment such as machinery, plumbing, sprinkler system, lighting, electrical, carpentry, machining and material handling equipment with the use of various hand and power tools.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment using various hand and power tools. May operate equipment when required.Repairs woodwork and completes carpentry projects as needed.Repairs and completes various tasks to grounds and building.Attends all mandatory safety training and maintains a safe work environment by following LOTO procedures and all facility safety policies and procedures.Requisitions supplies and coordinates delivery of needed materials.ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNEDEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Degree Required: Vocational/Technical School Certificate or equivalent experienceExperience: 2-4 years experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem solving skillsTime management skillsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:N/APHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Regular computer work, and sittingOccasional walking, standing, and liftingINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
