Summary Support sales staff by receiving product, pull orders, pack orders, ship orders, load and unload trucks, count inventory, pull outdates by performing the following duties. Key Responsibilities + Pulls orders. Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to be shipped or loaded into customer vehicles and trucks. Fills or requests for product or other stock items and distributes items to be shipped. + Packaging boxes for shipping. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves. + Unpacks boxes for receiving. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms. + Shipping/Receiving. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. + Load and unload trucks. Drives forklift and/or vehicle to transport items from warehouse to store. + Count inventory. Maintains inventory records. + Pull outdates. (Product that has expired.) + Data entry/addressing boxes. Marks materials with identifying information. Prepares parcels for mailing. Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant Experience Certified Veterinary Drug Technician/VDT - not required, but nice to have Requirements + Basic knowledge of computer systems (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or facilities with systems) + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Excellent organizational, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills + Valid Driver's License + The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and on occasion move up to 100 pounds.
