DISPATCHER
SUMMARY OF JOB
This position is responsible for maintaining the service and maintenance technicians daily schedules, setting the dispatch board, and setting the service calls for all technicians. The service dispatcher assists HVAC and plumbing technicians by ensuring all service calls are properly completed, any necessary return trips with customers are scheduled, and the completion rating is tracked. The dispatcher will also handle jobs that are in progress, maintain the customer database with current information. Responsibilities also include clear concise communications with department managers, employees and customers. Including keeping customers up-to-date as to Wickstrom Plumbing Heating & Cooling schedule and requested lead-times. The service dispatcher will provide the accounting department with maintenance contract billing information and all other information needed for job invoicing.

SUMMARY OF DAILY TASKS
1. Dispatch Service Technicians, one call at a time.
2. Respond to all messages left overnight.
3. Schedule and coordinate all demand service calls as calls are received using dispatch system.
4. Contact customers with updates on job status from job start to finish.
5. Maintain customer files and paperwork flow between technicians and the office.
6. Ensuring the dispatch board is full and moving smoothly each day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25 - 35 hour
