****Traveling to Wyoming and Eastern Idaho Stores****

As a Field Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of the display of merchandise in our Maverik stores by displaying special promotions, setting-up displays at aisle ends, checking daily on special promotions, and observing customer trends.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Trains District Managers, Store Directors, and Adventure Guides on Maveriks merchandising standards and initiatives

* Supports District Managers and Store Directors in the timely and proper implementation of merchandising programs, schematics, and layouts

* Leads new store set-up, rebuilds, and remodels

* Liaisons and supports both retail operations and customer fanatics

* Facilitates communication, knowledge, and understanding of Maveriks merchandising principles and goals

* Ensures consistent execution of Maveriks fundamental merchandising principles regarding promotional displays and POP

* Field Merchandiser will spend substantial time in the field; coverage of 60-80 stores

* 50-75% overnight travel required

* Schedule:

* Day /Evening shifts

* Additional responsibilities as assigned

**Physical Requirements:**

* Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally and grasping firmly

* Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception

**Qualifications: Education**

* Associate degree or equivalent; at least one-year related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience

**Qualifications: Experience**

* Two years retail sales/merchandising experience preferred

**Qualifications: Competencies**

* Demonstrated success as a people leader with 3 years of supervisory experience preferred

* High level of personal accountability

* Strong internal and external customer focus

* Self-starter with strong teambuilding, critical thinking, public speaking, and interpersonal skills

* The ability to drive activity to measurable results

* Effective time management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

* Ability to communicate and interact effectively with vendor partners
