**Job Overview:** We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our PETIQ Transportation team. Reporting to the Customer Fulfillment Manager, the Transportation Clerk must be able to multitask while arranging transportation related documents for customer shipments. With this role being office based, communication is key as you will be working with warehouses located in different parts of the country.

*Understands best practices for transportation operations to determine method of shipment based off of customer compliance requirements.

*Utilizes knowledge of shipping procedures put in place by the Manager and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP) written for customers the company ships to.

*Inputs critical information to obtain the best rates and routes which will insure the product reaches the customer by the MABD (must arrive by date) and or deliver within the delivery window for the customer.

*Understands & can prepare accurate time sensitive Bills of Lading which also include but not limited to; shipping labels/carton labels and pallet labels which is necessary for most outbound freight.

*Ability to understand and use various EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce or True Commerce to electronically communicate shipment information to customers and generate pertinent shipping documents.

*Ability to navigate and work multiple Enterprise Resource Planning software systems such as Sage X3 or Innatrack.

*Ability to input data entry in ERP systems to update orders to reflect carrier, ship date and accurate MABD along with tracking information.

*Ability to navigate various Transportation Management Systems to perform scheduling, routing, and other transportation tasks for shipments.

*Maintains electronic records on all shipment documentation created for company records and customer service inquiries (shipment status, audit request, etc.)

*Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ 0-6 months experience with Transportation Management Systems

+ 0-6 months experience in an office setting

+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

+ Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

+ Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

+ Previous experience in a transportation or shipping environment preferred, but not required.

+ Familiarity with logistics software preferred, but not required.

**Education Requirements**

+ High School Diploma or GED required

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

+ Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
