Provides administrative support to managers and work groups. Works independently and handles a wide variety of office duties and special projects. Manages confidential materials that require broad and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's policies and operations. Responsibilities require discretion, judgment, tact and poise.

- Composes correspondence requiring understanding of operational matters, signs for manager when authorization has been given.
- Responds to situations or conflicts involving the administrative functions of the office.
- Delegates assignments to administrative staff and develops work deadlines.
- Independently performs special projects and assists with complex presentations.
- Ensures that request for action or information are relayed to the appropriate staff member.
- Plans and coordinates large meetings and conferences, including catering when required
- Maintains schedules, travel arrangements and coordinates meetings with multiple staff members.
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
