Food Service Associate

Food and Beverage Description The Food Service Associate position assists in creating a pleasant guest experience by providing excellent customer service and performing a variety of food and beverage functions. This is a seasonal position.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB**

Accurately and efficiently process guests transactions involving purchases using POS terminals.

Accurately and efficiently prepare and cook menu items.

Abide by rules and regulations of local and federal health codes, as well as those of Bogus Basin.

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Abide by local and federal alcohol regulations.

Assist guests with questions and make recommendations based off guests needs and preferences.

Help maintain stocking levels for all sale items including prepackaged food items.

Assist with cleaning the Food and Beverage areas.

Maintain a professional attitude toward guest and staff.

Assist guests with any questions or problems that they may have, if unable to provide assistance, seek help of supervisor and/or manager

Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations while on premise.

Requirements Passionate about the Bogus Basin Mission.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach and/or balance with arms & hands for long periods of time.

Manual dexterity required to handle cash transactions and operate the POS system as well as prepare food and beverage items.

Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Ability to pass a background check.

Must be at least 19 years of age.

Must have or be able to obtain alcohol server training certificate within two weeks of hire date. (Bogus will provide resources to obtain certificate.)

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

Restaurant environment; both indoors and outdoors

May be exposed to inclement weather
