The Asphalt Laborer position is critical as we build better communities. Here are some things you will do:

• Rake and shovel asphalt.
• Help equipment operators facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of the machines, equipment and materials.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Dump windrows from belly and double belly trucks
• Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed

• Understanding asphalt paving procedures
• Ability to learn
• Great work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in the heat, bend, lift and other physical activities
• Someone who likes working outdoors
