Assembly Technician

Western Trailers is hiring for the Assembly Technician position.

$17.00 day shift and $19.00 night shift.

Job Description:

Western Trailers is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician in Boise, Idaho. Must possess the desire and ability to assemble flat beds & panel trailers, to include but not limited to: basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic flooring, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in the use of variety of hand tools
• Knowledge of basic of measuring tools e.g. tape measure, and have basic math skills.
• Ability to listen, comprehend and follow technical instructions
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Maintain a safe and friendly work environment
• Required to pass skill test

Requirements / Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED equivalency
• Desirable general mechanical / manufacturing experience
• Must meet attendance, be punctual & dependable
• Able to lift up to 50 + lbs.
• Working well as a team member, or independently
• Able to read & speak English
• Be able to stand on feet for most of the day
• Dependable transportation
• Previous experience a plus

Physical Demands

• Physical exertion required
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, pushing, twisting, kneeling, bend and move about the facility
• Regularly required to lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 50 + lbs.
