Every year, human resource departments around the country are flooded by a sea of resumes. Filtering out the unqualified isnt too difficult but knowing what to look for in candidates applying for jobs in Boise can be tricky. Here are some key points to keep an eye out for when the time comes to narrow down the candidate search:
1. A customized cover letter: qualified and dedicated candidates will have a customized cover letter accompanying their resume. Look for a candidate who specifically addresses the needs of your company and the duties of the position in his or her cover letter.
2. Relevant work experience: similar to the custom cover letter, the custom resume will ideally be unique for each job application. Look for candidates whose past work experience ties in with the duties and responsibilities of the position you are trying to fill.
